Privacy Policy

What we collect when you book a job or haul one, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Version 1In force since August 26, 2026Earlier versions are kept

Who we are

GoneSquad is a service of Carfuze Incorporation, a California corporation, at 3201 Skyway Court, Fremont, CA 94539. This policy covers gonesquad.com, booking a job, the hauler app, and the text messages we send about a job.

It applies to customers and to haulers alike. In California a hauler has the same privacy rights as a customer, so nothing below is written for one and not the other.

What we collect if you book a job

We never see or store your card number. Stripe collects it and holds it. We keep a reference to the transaction and the amount, and nothing else.

What we collect if you haul for us

Your tax information goes to Stripe, not to us. Signing up sends you to Stripe, which collects your SSN or EIN and verifies your identity under its own privacy policy. We are told only that your details are on file and that payouts can be sent. We never receive your SSN or EIN.

Sensitive information

California treats two of the things above as sensitive: a driver's licence, and precise location attached to dump receipts and job photos.

We use both only for the reasons given — confirming who is being sent to a home, and confirming a load reached a facility. We do not use either to work anything else out about you, and we do not sell or share either. You can still ask us to limit their use, and the section on your rights says how.

Where it comes from

From you. From your hauler, for job photos and dump receipts. From Stripe, for payment and payout status — never card or tax details. And from your device when you use the site.

Who we share it with

Four companies handle information on our behalf, each of them limited to what we ask them to do:

Customers and haulers necessarily see some of each other's details. Your hauler is told your name, address and phone number so they can do the job. You are told your hauler's name and given a way to message them.

We also share information where the law requires it, and with our advisers or insurers if a claim is made.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We run no analytics, no advertising tags, and no third-party trackers of any kind.

Text messages

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Information sharing with subcontractors who support our service — such as our messaging provider — is limited to what is needed to deliver the messages you asked for.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, and then delete it. How long that is depends on what the information is for:

Where the law requires us to keep something longer, or where a claim is open, we keep what that requires and nothing more, until it no longer applies.

Your rights in California

You can ask us to:

We will not treat you worse for asking. Not a worse price, not fewer jobs, not slower service.

To ask, email privacy@gonesquad.com, or write to the address at the end of this page. We will check it is really you before we answer — usually by confirming you control the phone number or email on the account — and we will reply within 45 days. Someone can ask on your behalf if you give them written permission.

Keeping it safe

Documents are held in private storage with per-person access. A fleet owner cannot open their own driver's licence file, because it carries a date of birth that is the driver's business and not theirs. Card details never reach our systems at all. Reaching our internal tools requires a named staff account, and changes to how the platform behaves are recorded against the person who made them.

Children

This service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about them. We do not sell or share the information of anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. Every version is kept, and when we change it we publish a new version with the date it takes effect and a plain description of what changed. The version in force is always the one at gonesquad.com/privacy, and it shows its version number and the date it took effect at the top.

Older versions stay available, so you can always see what applied at the time.
