Privacy Policy

GoneSquad (“we,” “us”) provides junk removal booking and dispatch services in the San Francisco Bay Area. This policy describes what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

Contact & booking info: name, phone number, email, service address, scheduling details.
Photos you send us of items for quoting, and before/after photos taken at your job for quality and dispute resolution.
Payment information: processed by Stripe, Inc. We never store your card number — only the last four digits and payment status.
Messages: SMS/text conversations with us (our service runs on text messaging), call logs, and web form submissions.
Website data: basic analytics (pages visited, approximate location from IP). No third-party ad trackers.

How we use it

To quote, book, dispatch, perform, and support your service; to process payments and refunds; to send service-related text messages (confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, receipts); to maintain quality and safety records; to improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Independent service providers (haulers): only what the job requires — your first name, service address, access notes, and the items booked. Never your payment details.
Service vendors: Stripe (payments), Twilio (text messaging), our booking and hosting providers — each only what their function requires.
Legal: if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Text messaging (SMS) program

By booking, submitting our quote form, or texting us first, you agree to receive service-related text messages from GoneSquad. Message frequency varies by job activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; reply HELP for help. Opting out stops all non-essential messages immediately. We do not send marketing texts without separate consent, and we never share your number for others' marketing.

Retention

Job records, messages, and photos are kept while your account is active and for the period needed for disputes, warranties, and legal compliance, after which photos are archived or deleted. You may request deletion (below).

Your California rights (CCPA)

You may request: what personal information we hold about you, deletion of it, and correction of inaccuracies. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To exercise rights: email privacy@gonesquad.com or text STOP/your request to our service number. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
